David Sorokanich
FounderDavid Sorokanich is an independent singer-songwriter and producer from Scranton, Pennsylvania. He’s a 2019 graduate of Syracuse University’s SI Newhouse School of Public Communications, where he majored in Television, Radio, Film and minored in Music Industry.
David has been an active musician since he was a teenager, serving as lead guitarist for multiple bands and performing at hundreds of venues across the east coast. He has contributed guitar, bass, and keyboard parts to several music projects (Midway Ave, Embera, Flight Project, Daimen Seid) as well as produced and released a dozen singles under his artist name “David Soro”.
David’s self-reliant approach to music inspired him to open Modern Audio Recording Studio in 2026. His combined love of performance and production have informed every aspect of the studio’s creation, resulting in a space that holds up under the most rigorous technical scrutiny. David’s expertise as an instrumentalist and indie rock producer allows him to be hands-on with any music project that might come through the studio doors.
Bill Gerrity
Studio Engineer Bill Gerrity is a platinum-certified producer, mixer, and audio engineer with a distinguished career in the music industry. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production and Engineering, Bill combines technical precision with creative vision to deliver polished, radio-ready records across pop, rock, and beyond.
For eight years, Bill honed his craft working under Grammy-nominated producer Wayne Wilkins. During that time and beyond, he has produced and mixed tracks for a range of high-profile artists, including Jax, Natasha Bedingfield and Armaan Malik. His discography also includes work with numerous additional artists in pop and related genres.
Bill’s contributions have helped tracks achieve significant commercial success, with streaming numbers exceeding 500 million across platforms. He holds platinum and gold RIAA certifications tied to his work on charting singles that have resonated with millions of listeners worldwide. In addition to studio production and mixing, Bill is a seasoned professional drummer, bringing a deep rhythmic understanding and live-performance sensibility to every project he touches.

Cole Coyer
Studio Engineer Cole Coyer is an audio engineer and producer with a deeply hands-on background in music creation, recording, and post-production. With years of real-world experience across sessions, live environments, and independent projects, he brings a practical, musician-first approach to every recording. Cole has worked extensively with artists to shape performances, refine arrangements, and deliver polished mixes, drawing on his own perspective as a multi-instrumentalist.
He further developed his craft at Blackbird Academy, where he trained in both studio and live sound environments. The program emphasized hands-on experience, from signal flow and microphone techniques to full-session execution in a professional studio setting. This immersive training, combined with his independent work, allows Cole to move comfortably between technical precision and creative collaboration—helping artists feel at ease while achieving high-quality results.
Brandon Zajaczkowski
Studio Engineer Brandon Zajaczkowski is a producer, mixer, and audio engineer with a passion for bringing ideas to life across a wide range of genres. As a multi-instrumentalist with a background in classical music, he has a strong sense of arrangement and a keen ear for how sounds fit together in a mix.
His interest in world music has given him a broad perspective on different styles and sounds, which he brings into his work without being tied to any one genre. Whether it’s rock, jazz, hip-hop, or classical, Brandon approaches each project with flexibility and a focus on what best serves the music.
He discovered his love for recording and engineering while studying at Kutztown University, where he worked on sessions spanning multiple styles and ensembles. Since graduating, he’s worked both in commercial studios and independently with artists. Alongside his studio work, Brandon is also an educator, bringing a detail-oriented and problem-solving approach to every session.
